  • Optical coating
  • Display industry
  • Glass coating
  • Thin-film photovoltaics and Solar thermal
  • OLED and OPV
  • lndustrial PVD coating

Solayer provides high-end vacuum equipment for large area deposition and advanced coating processes for nanometer to micrometer scale thin-films by Magnetron sputtering, PECVD, CVD, ALD, Ion implantation, Evaporation etc. To enhance the surface properties, Solayer offers ultra short thermal treatment systems based on Flash lamp annealing (FLA). The company possesses fully equipped coating and analytic laboratories employed to develop and qualify new technologies for the plasma-assisted deposition of thin films on rigid and flexible substrates.

Solayer provides customized in-line vertical glass coating systems, roll-to-roll web coaters, cluster deposition tools and process solutions featuring its own key components such as magnetrons, magnetron lids, end blocks and plasma emission control devices. Solayer offers its own proprietary magnetron technology with process control hardware for PVD and ion sources for PECVD. Customers can benefit from upgrade packages for existing systems that increase total system productivity and improve coating quality and reliability.

Founded in 2007, Solayer is headquartered in Dresden/ Kesselsdorf, Germany. The company is financially backed by the SITIZN Group Holding AG. The SITIZN Group holding invests in companies developing and offering vacuum technologies that perform above and beyond existing standards.
